The government wants a negotiation reserve of 1.2 billion

The negotiating reserve is a pool of money where the parties can come up with their special wishes for the Finance Act. These can include wishes for welfare as well as climate and green change.

The 1.2 billion kroner is less than the two most recent finance laws, where the Social Democrats have been in power.

Two years ago, the negotiating reserve was DKK 2.1 billion in the government’s proposal.

Last year, the government had set aside DKK 1.5 billion for a negotiating reserve and at the same time proposed that this amount should apply to the Finance Acts from 2021 to 2024.
