The OSCE Forum highlights the financial empowerment of women

PRAGUE, 9 September (Xinhua) – Promoting women’s economic empowerment and their access to education, social protection and the labor market, especially during the post-pandemic period, is crucial to achieving stability and sustainable development in all participating States in the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), said the participants in the opening of the OSCE Economic and Environmental Forum 2021 here on Thursday.

“By acting now and working together for a more sustainable, inclusive and equal development, we have a chance to mitigate economic and environmental security risks and build more sustainable, peaceful and democratic societies in the OSCE region,” said Ann Linde, Sweden’s Foreign Minister and OSCE Chairman.
