In a press release Kaisa Paasivirta, which manages the Aalto International Talent program, stated that Finland is in dire need of a skilled workforce and cannot afford to ignore the expertise offered by foreign students.
Paasivirta, who helped plan the course, says that she takes into account the special needs of these students and provides information on how to respond to the challenges they may face when applying for jobs in Finland.
The course includes five chapters that deal in detail with the following broad topics: Finnish work culture, working in a Finnish organization, maintaining a work-life balance, developing appropriate skills and pursuing a career in Finland.
Students can complete a course that includes content designed by recruitment and career experts at their own pace and can purchase an electronic certificate once it is completed.
You will find more information about the course, including registration instructions here and here.
