A text message will be sent to anyone who has received a positive COVID-19 test result. The message contains instructions for reporting exposed persons in the MyCovidData.fi service. The service is used in the HUS area in all municipalities except Helsinki. Helsinki has its own system for reporting liabilities.
โ The information provided in the service is useful preliminary information for markers of infections and speeds up traceability. The service can be used to report all places where the infected person has been, and to write the names and telephone numbers of the exposed people and all other information related to the exposure, โ says the assistant chief physician. Eeva Ruotsalainen.
When the data is registered before calling the infection tracer, the data can be checked together and supplemented if necessary. The infectious marker confirms the exposure.
Use of the service requires strong authentication with online banking IDs or a mobile certificate. It is also possible to use the service on behalf of another person.
The service is now available in Finnish. The Swedish and English versions of the service will be launched soon. In addition to the municipalities in the HUS area, the service can be introduced in the hospital districts of Kymote, Eksote and Northern Ostrobothnia.
The address of the service is MyCovidData.fi.
