See: Finland sees the first snowfalls

Two centimeters of white stuff covered the village of Näkkälä in Enontekiö in northwestern Lapland on September 13 at about 10:00.

However, because the storms were not recorded until 9 a.m., Yle meteorologist Seija Paasonen said Monday rain will not be officially classified as the first snow of the winter season.
