According to the accusation, he has raped and insulted the woman several times and exposed her to violence, among other things by spitting in her face, hitting her with a camera and tearing her hair.
The man denies guilt.
The prosecution demanded door closure and name ban as the investigation is still ongoing.
The defender was against closing the door. He referred to the public interest and freedom of speech of his client.
The accused believes that the accusation is an attempt to stop a critical documentary about the woman who accuses him.
The judge agreed with the prosecutor and the doors were closed, meaning it has not been possible to hear the man’s explanation.
It was the media Freedom Letter, which earlier on Thursday announced that the rape case was to be about the rape of a named female author.
Ritzau has been in contact with the person listed on the author’s website as a press contact.
It is in principle illegal to reveal the identity of victims in morality cases, and it will require the author himself to appear if the name is to be mentioned.
The press contact has passed on Ritzau’s inquiry, but the author has not returned.
