The last time there were three days in a row with less than 100 inpatients was first in August.
The number of inpatients with covid-19 reached its previous peak on 4 January, when 964 infected people were admitted to Denmark.
Since then, the number has dropped steadily, and during the summer there were two days in July where fewer than 30 people with covid-19 were hospitalized.
On Monday morning, 22 of the infected were admitted to intensive care units, and 17 of them were on a respirator. On Sunday, the numbers were 23 and 15, respectively.
A further 268 people have been notified since the latest inventory that they are infected with covid-19.
It is at the low end of the daily infection rates in September, where between 252 and 825 have been notified daily that they have covid-19.
However, it is also part of the picture that there has been great variation in how many tests have been answered daily.
Monday’s infection rate includes responses from 26,330 samples. This is the lowest number in the daily inventory in 2021.
Two more people with coronavirus have passed away. This means that a total of 2630 Danes with corona died during the epidemic.
The work of vaccinating the Danish population is also slowly progressing.
An additional approximately 4,000 vaccine injections have been given, so that 75.8 percent of the population has now received at least one injection. 73.9 percent are fully vaccinated.
