The man was arrested Monday and has been charged with rape.
However, there is very little information in the case. Thus, there is no information as to whether the woman and the detainee have a relationship with each other or where the assault must have taken place.
It is also unknown how the man relates to the charge.
Southeast Jutland Police, however, confirm that it was the report of rape that on Monday meant that many officers and dog patrols were present in Åparken on Monday.
Here, locals could see the police cordon in a larger area of Åparken, while dogs and investigators walked around the place.
The area is located by a number of youth housing, the Court in Kolding and Kolding HF and VUC.
Exactly when the rape must have taken place and when an alarm was sounded about the assault is not stated.
One of the reasons for the lack of information, according to the police, is that the prosecution is requesting closed doors at the constitutional hearing.
This means that the police evidence and the accused’s possible explanation will not be presented while, for example, the press or other listeners are present in the courtroom.
