Several Danes have been arrested in Spain, where they are suspected in a case of several hundred kilos of hashish that was to be sent to Denmark.
It writes the media Spain Day. This is based on a press release from Spanish police, which was issued on Tuesday.
A total of nine people of Danish, Russian and Iranian nationality were arrested in the operation, the media writes. Large sums of money, luxury cars, mobile phones, opioid tablets, a drone and documents were also seized.
According to Spain Day, in April, police intercepted a shipment of 780 kilos of hashish, which was stored in tomato cans. The cans were placed on ten pallets with a view to being transported to Denmark.
The media has contacted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Denmark, which confirms that it knows the case, but can not provide further information.
It is not stated when exactly the action with the arrests took place, or whether the Danes are still in the custody of the Spanish police.
