None of them are named Karim Albino, but the name still appears again and again in the case. Among other things, the youngest of the accused – the suspected killer – has entered into various correspondences over the net with Karim Albino.
But Karim Albino may not exist at all. Prosecutor Kirsten Waage Jensen says that the joking rocker, in the prosecution’s opinion, is in fact identical to the 23-year-old man who is also charged in the case.
The case is scheduled to last up to seven days. The first day is the interrogation of the 19-year-old, who is on the program. He says that he and Nicoline knew each other from their youth home on Uddannelsesvej in Ølby Village, where they both lived.
He himself often stayed on Københavnsvej in his girlfriend’s apartment behind the restaurant WokAmok. It was here that Nicoline Plintic Pedersen was found killed on July 14, 2020.
– We sucked a lot, the 19-year-old tells about his and Nicoline’s life, and with that he alludes to the fact that they often took cocaine.
According to his explanation, he and Nicoline Plintic Pedersen made money on drugs by selling cocaine. They picked it up from a supplier and brought it out to the buyers.
The 19-year-old also tells how, among other things, they raised money by buying mobile phones in installments, which they sold to get cash.
The prosecutor presents a wide variety of messages that the 19-year-old has exchanged with various people online. Among others with Karim Albino.
At one point in the correspondence, Karim Albino threatens to visit the 19-year-old on Københavnsvej. That threat comes in the wake of the 19-year-old threatening the co-defendant with raping his wife and his children.
According to the 19-year-old, these threats stemmed from a dispute over a car dealership.
According to the defendant, Karim Albino was to be the brother of the co-defendant’s wife. But the accused has never met him.
Prosecutor Kirsten Waage Jensen has only initially mentioned that the prosecution believes that Karim Albino and the co-defendant are one and the same person. No evidence has yet been provided for that claim.
The co-defendant will be questioned in the case next week. A number of witnesses will then be questioned. Judgment in the case is expected on October 28.
