The artist Lukas Bury is honored to invite you to a Polish-language tour of the exhibition “How to present an eclipse”, located in Ásmundarsafn.
In this exhibition you can see the works of Sirra Sigrún Sigurðardóttir, which enter into a dialogue with the work of Ásmundur Sveinsson and the building itself. Sirra’s work is cosmological. These are speculations about our place among the elements, nature and physics, and the forces that rule the world. Ásmundur, on the other hand, reflects in his works an interest in the movement of celestial bodies. The work of both artists relates directly to his strong fascination with technology and the natural sciences.
Languages of Art (Listin talar tungum) is a collaborative project between an organization Let’s hold our hands (Tökum höndum saman) and the city of Reykjavik and the Reykjavik Art Museum. The project received funding from the Council for Museums in Iceland (Öndvegisstyrkur Safnasjóðs).
Admission to the exhibition is free, you only need to register HERE.
