A van was driven late Saturday night in a serious traffic accident at Kalvebodbroen towards Amager.
Two people have been seriously injured, of which in the case of one it is quite serious. This is what Dyre Sønnicksen, chief of security at the Copenhagen Police, says.
– We are out there with suitable forces, and they are getting ready for them to drive an escort with two ambulances towards Rigshospitalet, he says.
The van was driven from the Zealand side on the way to Amager. According to the chief of guards, it is not yet known how the van was driven incorrectly.
Due to the accident, the Amager motorway is blocked for traffic towards Copenhagen at exit 21 after a serious traffic accident.
– We have put a plug in at Avedøre. There is massive queuing already, he says. Exactly how long it’s going to take, he dares not predict.
– But it will probably take some time, says Dyre Sønnicksen.
The relatives have not been notified yet.
