“E-commerce continues to grow and changes in consumer behavior seem to be lasting. We are preparing for a record end of the year, which will surpass even last year’s figures by starting Saturday’s deliveries on time, ”says Tommi Kässi, Director, Parcel and E-Commerce, Post Office.
“Many of us want to shop on Saturdays, and being able to shop in our online store at the same time makes life easier. Weekend deliveries also allow online retailers to improve their delivery speed and customer satisfaction rate. “Of all online store orders, 62% of those delivered to parcel boxes are picked up during the same weekend. Posti encourages its customers to pick up parcels as quickly as possible to leave room for incoming goods.

The online store will be enhanced especially by Black Friday, which will be held on November 26. On Black Friday, Posti will start delivering packages to the most popular pick-up points seven days a week.
