– I think it’s awful when there are violations and bullying in any workplace in this country.
– That is why I also know that the responsible management at the national office takes it very seriously and has done so for a long time.
– I am completely convinced that the responsible management – as the national office is – handles these cases, she says.
Mai Villadsen also says that she has been aware that “there have been challenges” for some time. But she will not set a date on how long.
– But I have known for some time that there were challenges and that they were fortunately handled by the management over there.
On Thursday, Ekstra Bladet was able to report that part of the Folketingsgruppen became aware of the poor working environment in a warning letter to the executive committee in October last year.
It was allegedly said that the country office itself had to handle the cases.
Mai Villadsen believes it would be premature to start interfering in how cases are to be handled in the future.
Question: Do you think it was right to say that the national office should solve the problems itself, or do you think that the parliamentary group has a responsibility?
– We all have a responsibility to ensure a proper working environment where we are. We do everything we can to ensure this in the Unity List.
– It is the responsible management at the national office who is responsible for ensuring a proper working environment there.
– I am convinced that they are doing what they can to ensure.
In April, the Danish Working Environment Authority passed the Unity List’s national office in inner Copenhagen.
Here, the inspectorate found that about 25 percent of the employees in the past year have been exposed to bullying. About half had felt stressed in the previous six months.
The Danish Working Environment Authority has demanded that the party carry out a study of the mental working environment of an external company. It must be completed by October 8.
