The partnership was initiated in the spring of 2021, when the government invited the Danish business community, organizations and experts to join the partnership.
The task was to come up with recommendations and ideas for future digitization. The recommendations have now been handed over to the government. Now the plan is for them to be followed up by the government’s strategy for the whole of Denmark.
It is scheduled to be negotiated with the autumn Finance Act.
Denmark can become an even better society for citizens and companies if the new recommendations from the government’s digitalisation partnership are implemented, says Dansk Industri’s CEO Lars Sandahl Sørensen.
– This is about making life easier and simpler for all of us. For citizens and companies and for all employees in both the public and private sectors, says Lars Sandahl Sørensen.
He himself has been part of the partnership, which has come up with recommendations that will help with green transformation, a well-functioning health sector and a digital business.
– Digital tools from apps, teams and robots are one of the most important explanations for the fact that we managed the pandemic better than most, and that our companies have emerged stronger from the crisis, says Lars Sandahl Sørensen.
Out of the 46 recommendations, Lars Sandahl Sørensen highlights, among other things, the recommendation for better access to data use.
– We need to use the many data from, among others, the health sector to become wiser and more skilled. And we must be more ambitious with the use of data to create new and innovative products and to help us with the green transition, says Lars Sandahl Sørensen.
For companies, there must be easier contact with the public sector via a new digital solution called “My company”. It must help to reduce the companies’ challenge by reporting to various authorities.
