The travel guide is updated every Friday. The changes will take effect the following Saturday at 4 p.m.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs updates the travel guidelines for EU and Schengen countries on a weekly basis. This is based on the latest infection figures from the Statens Serum Institut.
Completely vaccinated can basically travel to almost the whole world – also to most orange countries. However, not to countries that have entry restrictions for Danes, even though they have been vaccinated.
These are countries like Vietnam, Indonesia and Singapore.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs encourages Danes not only to relate to the color of the corona card. You should also read the text in the travel guide before embarking on a journey.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not advise against traveling to yellow areas, but travelers are encouraged to be extra careful.
When a country is green in the travel guide, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends that you as a traveler be aware.
In France, the regions of Occitanie, Grand Est and Corsica are also changing to green status. The same applies to the North Aegean Sea, including Chios, Lesbos and Samos (Aegean Islands).
Lithuania changes status to yellow.
