* Many countries continue to have covid-19 restrictions. Therefore, the traveling Danish tourist must in future relate to the level of security in the travel guides and the destination’s entry rules on the embassies’ covid-19 websites.
* Non-vaccinated travelers will be able to read on coronasmitte.dk about the restrictions that apply after returning to Denmark in relation to test and isolation requirements. In addition, non-vaccinated people should pay special attention to the fact that several countries still do not allow entry unless they have been vaccinated.
Entry:
* In the EU and Schengen area, people who have been fully vaccinated, previously infected and people who have a negative test will in future be able to travel into Denmark without restrictions. For others, there will be a requirement that they must be tested no later than 24 hours after entry into Denmark. The requirement will also apply to persons with Danish citizenship or with permanent residence in Denmark when they enter Denmark.
* For the whole world, the requirement for a recognizable purpose and the requirement for testing prior to entry are removed.
* Police covid-19-related border control ceases.
* Completely vaccinated from OECD countries, countries from the EU’s positive list, which Denmark has opened for, and countries that are regularly associated with the EU’s corona passport scheme, can enter Denmark without the requirement for testing and isolation.
* For non-vaccinated people entering from countries from the EU’s positive list, which Denmark has opened for, testing after entry is required.
* Travelers from other countries will have to be tested and go into isolation after entry.
* For cruise tourism, there will be requirements for corona passes before boarding as well as requirements for tests before landing in Denmark, if infection breaks out on the ship.
