In 2021–2022, the lecture series explores spaces through the lens of user experience and the patina of life brought by users through spaces.
“During the pandemic, our lifestyle has slowed down and we have stopped to think about what impact farms have on their users and the space users bring. The importance of handicrafts has been emphasized. We miss the exact quality of the work and concrete materials ”, says curator of the lecture series Jenni Reuter.

Bêka and Lemoine
Video artists, filmmakers, producers and publishers, Ila Bêka and Louise Lemoine have worked together for the past 15 years, focusing mainly on their research into experimenting with new narrative and cinematic forms in relation to contemporary architecture and the urban environment. By focusing their interests primarily on how the built environment shapes and influences our daily lives, they have developed a very unique and personal approach that can be defined on the basis of a French writer Georges Perec, “as ordinary anthropology.” http://www.bekalemoine.com
“In their films, Ila Bêka and Louise Lemoine present architecture from the user’s perspective. This aspect is most often missing from architectural publications, even though architecture comes to life only in use. ”, says Jenni Reuter.
The seminar is free of charge. Pre-registration required.

His studio is a multidisciplinary team of Architects, Engineers, Builders, Craftsmen, Technicians and Artists on different continents.
