When rescue workers are sent out to search for the plane, they are met by a surreal vision. In a valley, they see the remains of an Airbus 320, which is smashed into small, small parts. The plane has collided with the massif at 700 km / h.
Desperate relatives around Europe are looking for answers to what happened. In the small German town of Haltern am See, it is slowly sinking in that a whole group of schoolchildren and their teachers who have been on a language trip in Barcelona, will never come home again.
French and German police are working frantically to investigate what happened. The black box that recorded the sound on board is unlikely to be found just a few hours after the crash. It will be a crucial piece of the puzzle when the investigators get clarity on what happened. And what they hear on the recording will shock the whole world.
