When Björn Andrésen was fifteen years old, he became world famous in the role of Tadzio in Luchino Visconti’s film Death in Venice. He was named by the director as the most beautiful boy in the world.
He grew up with his grandmother and grandfather and made his debut in Roy Andersson’s film A Love Story. When he was 15 years old and it was the world premiere in London for the film Death in Venice, he had to bow to Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Anne.
The most difficult thing Björn Andrésen experienced was when his nine-month-old son died.
– I was paralyzed. I can not feel sad, I just feel paralyzed.
