5192 people have received a third vaccine sting against covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
This is how the vaccination of the different groups goes:
* First revaccination:
Selected groups are offered third plugs. These include nursing home residents, citizens with special immune systems and citizens who are 85 years of age or older.
On Friday, the Danish Health and Medicines Authority announced that it will also give the third vaccine to fully vaccinated people over the age of 65, six months and 14 days after they have received another vaccination.
In total, 134,843 citizens have received a third vaccine sting in connection with revaccination. That equates to 2.3 percent of the population.
* Groups 1-9:
Vaccine groups 1-9 include citizens over the age of 65, health professionals, the particularly vulnerable and their relatives.
In this group, 1,564,909 received the first sting with a vaccine. This corresponds to 96.8 percent of the target group. 1,558,302 – corresponding to 96.5 percent of the target group – have been vaccinated.

The inventory only includes the vaccinated citizens who are still alive and resident in Denmark.
The Statens Serum Institut (SSI) calculates the number of vaccinated in relation to the population and not the number of people to be vaccinated.
SSI does this because the institute wants to assess how close Denmark is to herd immunity.
Note that the number of people who have received the first bite also includes those who have completed the vaccination. Those who have received the vaccine from Johnson & Johnson, which requires only one sting, are also included in both figures.
SSI points out that there may be a delay in the registration of the given vaccines.
