Flights from Akureyri to Amsterdam

Dutch travel agency Voigt Travel will start winter flights from Amsterdam to Akureyri. The first flight is scheduled for February 11, 2022.

The travel agency will resume the venture as Voigt Travel made several trips on this route in February and March 2020 before the coronavirus outbreak, the Morgunblaðið newspaper reads.

Hjalti Þórarinsson, project manager of Flugklasan Air 66N, says that in total, the travel agent offers flights from Amsterdam to Akureyri in five weeks, there will be flights twice a week for a total of 10 flights. Voigt Travel began flights between Amsterdam and Akureyri in the summer of 2019.

“The travel agency has already invested in the marketing of these flights and wants to continue it, and in addition to the winter flight schedule after the New Year, direct flights between cities will also be available in the summer of next year” Says Hjalti.
