Finland will go to the polls in the country’s first provincial elections next January, and Yle is gathering ideas on issues to be included in the election compass.

The election compass is a tool for voters to check which candidates and parties are most closely in line with their own views.
They are very popular in Finland, and most media produce their own. Yle will be in English, just like the one we produced for this year’s municipal elections.
Elections are scheduled for Sunday, January 23, and advance voting will begin on January 12.
