# The Let’s Go campaign started again on November 5, 2021. It was timed at a time when the restrictions and recommendation on telework have been lifted and vaccination coverage in Finland has risen to about 80 per cent.
The decision to suspend the campaign was based on the health authorities’ assessment that the epidemiological situation has deteriorated in many areas and that further measures are needed to reduce infections. Achieving a national vaccination coverage of 80% alone is not enough to bring the epidemic down. The decision on the recommendations and restrictions needed to curb it will be made in the regions.
The Ministry of Transport and Communications encourages the use of public transport services in accordance with health safety guidelines.
โIf we take care of each other, we can use public transport services and ensure health security. Take vaccinations, wear a face mask, avoid crowds, and stay home if youโre sick, the communications director says. Susanna Niinivaara.
For the time being, the Department of Health and Welfare recommends the use of a face mask in public transport throughout the country. Transport service providers must continue to ensure that measures are in place to ensure health security.
#The Go Again campaign is a joint project of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom, the Finnish Transport Agency and the Finland Forward Communications Group at the Prime Minister’s Office.
