Fiorentina end Milan's unbeaten run in Serie A.

ROM, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) – AC Milan saw their Serie A unbeaten run end on Saturday, when they suffered a 4-3 setback away against Fiorentina, as Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s double was not enough.

Milan had never tasted a defeat in the domestic league since April and recorded 10 wins and two draws.

But Rossoneri came back to earth at Artemio Franchi Stadium when it was down to 3-0 after 60 minutes.

The home crowd cheered when, after 15 minutes, Ciprian Tatarusanu’s charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day.

Viola made it 2-0 before the break, when former Milan player Riccardo Saponara finished with a spectacular curler on the edge of the box.

The home team extended the lead after the hour when Dusan Vlahovic charged forward and rounded an ongoing Tatarusanu to put in the net.

Despite Ibrahimovic scoring two goals within five minutes, Vlahovic crushed the Swedish efforts with a low strike.

Milan reduced the deficit again in the dying minutes thanks to an own goal from Lorenzo Venuti, but it was too late.

Milan are still level with Napoli at number one with 32 points, while Partenopei visit Inter Milan on Sunday.

In another long-awaited match, Juventus beat Lazio 2-0 away, when Leonardo Bonucci converted two penalties in both halves.

Also on Saturday, Atalanta beat Spezia 5-2.
