According to a report by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) from 11 to 21 November 2021, at least 667,900 people have been displaced between 1 and 21 January, Khaama Press reports.
The report also identifies the number of refugees returned from Pakistan and Iran to Afghanistan this year.
More than 1.146 million illegal Afghan refugees, most of whom have returned from Iran, have been returned from Iran and Pakistan in 2021.
On the other hand, hundreds of thousands of Afghans have moved to Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, India, Europe, England, the United States and Canada in the last 100 days since the Taliban took over Afghanistan in August, Khaama Press reported.
Referring to unverified reports, the Afghan media suggested that more than 95 percent of Afghan citizens have lived below the poverty line since August 15 and the countryโs economy has shrunk by more than 35 percent since then.
Several Afghan women leaders, journalists, law activists, lawyers and judges have been evacuated by Western countries.
