Baldwin, Biden and… Tokyo?
The last three in the top 10 were all culture-oriented.
The big Danish TV series thriller hit ‘The Chestnut Man’ on Netflix came in eighth place, while the South Korean giga hit series ‘Squid Game’ finished in tenth place.
‘Albert Dyrlund’, the popular Danish YouTuber who tragically crashed 200 meters to his death in Italy in July while recording a video, became number nine.
Google also records the most popular questions asked on its search engine, and the winner here involved who to vote for in the 2021 local election. Other pop-up queries included ‘When can I get vaccinated?’ and ‘What time is it in Tokyo?’ – a search that was probably replaced by the 2020 Summer Games.
The foreign individual who gave the most searches in Denmark was ‘Alec Baldwin ‘, after his involvement in the shooting episode of the set of a western in October, who killed film photographer Halyna Hutchins.
US President Joe Biden and Prince Philip, who died in April, finished second and third.
