There has been a lot of confusion about how long the public will have to wait for their third vaccination sting.
Technically, the waiting time between the second and third jab has always been six months.
While some have boasted of getting their third jab in good time on various social media platforms, others have revealed that they were stopped by the authorities when they showed up for the deal and were told to return when six months had passed.
Technically, under the six-month rule, only persons over 60 are eligible.
EMA approval
That all changed yesterday, however, after the European Medical Association changed the waiting time from six to three months.
According to the National Board of Health’s health authority, all residents in Denmark aged 40 and over will be invited to have their third jab before Christmas.
This means that an invitation can very easily show up in your inbox in the coming days.
The government has recently stepped up its vaccination capacity, but doubts were raised as to who would be eligible.
Millions are the answer this morning.
