The coronavirus passport should, according to him, significantly reduce the financial burden on businesses of trying to manage the epidemiological situation by providing ways to circumvent restrictions. The passport therefore also plays a key role in the management of public finances.

Lintilä emphasized that the consequences of business operations should always be taken into account when making recommendations related to the coronavirus epidemic. According to him, such dialogue has been rather limited between the Ministry of Employment and the Economy and the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health.
