I-League: Tiago Adan inspires late Real Kashmir comeback against Neroca FC

Kalyani (West Bengal) []March 16 (): Real managed to come back from behind with late goals when they managed to get away with a 3-3 draw against Neroca FC in their I-League match, at Kalyani on Tuesday.

Neroca FC went into the second half with a 2-0 lead, with an own from defender Ponif Vaz (18 ‘) and a wonderful header from Mohammad Kdouh (33’). Skipper Mason Robertson (48 ‘) brought his team back into the competition, but Sergio Mendigutxia (58’) crossed the gap with two goals once again with a tap-in goal.

A late goal from the spot by Tiago Adan (88 ‘) inspired Real Kashmir’s comeback when Surchandra Singh (906’) scored an overtime goal and ended the match 3-3.

The match started with Neroca FC hitting attacking position as soon as it went off, and already in the second minute they created a chance that just went outside. Two minutes later, Real Kashmir came into the game when Mason Robertson took a cross from Abhash Thapa from the left, but his header went straight into Neroca goalkeeper Shubham Dha’s hands.

Real Kashmir continued to create opportunities but a mistake in the defense proved to be too costly for Leopards. After 85 minutes, Dhanajoy Singh’s Tiago Adan fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. Tiago sent Shubham Das in the wrong direction and he converted from place, to reduce the gap to 2-3. Real Kashmir continued to press while stopping time as they kept possession of the ball and tried to continue making penetration attempts inside the sexy field. Tiago Adan unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors’ keeper did well to tip wide.

However, Surchandra Singh decided he fancied doing his job and cleared it with an assured header. The exciting match ended in a draw 3-3 when Real Kashmir managed to grab a point in the match. (ANI)
