A historic speech
On the day four weeks after Russia’s attack, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj spoke to Swedish MPs. He announced that Ukraine is currently suffering severely, but that it is resolute in its opposition and that it needs help from the outside world – where he believes that Sweden can also contribute more.
Great agreement in the Riksdag
Zelenskyj’s speech takes place shortly after Magdalena Andersson’s and Ulf Kristersson’s visit to the NATO exercise Cold Response in northern Norway. What does the demonstrated agreement between the Prime Minister and the opposition leader say about the current situation? And can an old conflict over nuclear weapons bubble up within the Social Democrats?
