The President and the Minister of Education will hold Ukraine, NATO Q&A with Finnish schoolchildren

Finnish President Sauli Niinistö and the Minister of Education Li Andersson (left) a direct question-and-answer session with schoolchildren will be held on Wednesday, April 20 at 9:30 a.m.

Topics include Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the security situation in Finland. The session will be broadcast live through the Ministry YouTube channel and the Office of the President website.

The Ministry of Education and Culture said in a press release that questions to the President and the Minister are from six different schools across Finland.

The schools are Muonio Primary School in Lapland, Kempele Ylikylä Primary School near Oulu, Kaarisilla Primary School near Poria, Matti Lohi School near Rautalammi in Northern Savonia, Central Uusimaa Christian School in Järvenpää and the Swedish-language Botby Grund School in Helsinki.

The ministry added that other schools can send questions via email before the event.
