The Finnish passport was placed "third strongest" In the world

The Finnish passport is the third strongest in the world and enables visa-free access to a total of 189 countries, according to the recent results of the global mobility index compiled by the London consulting company Henley & Partners.

Passports in Japan and Singapore topped the index, facilitating visa-free access to 192 countries worldwide, while Germany and South Korea ranked second together in 190 countries.

Finland ranked third alongside Italy, Luxembourg and Spain. Of the other Nordic countries, Denmark and Sweden were in fourth place, Norway sixth and Iceland 11th.

The โ€˜Global Passport Rankingโ€™ index evaluates 199 different passports and 227 different travel destinations and classifies passports according to how many countries a passport holder can travel without a visa.

In contrast, Afghan passport holders find it most difficult to cross international borders, as they are only allowed to travel to 26 countries without a visa.
