The battalion will be deployed to Latvia at the request of NATO.
The agreement also gives Denmark the opportunity to make a frigate and a number of military air contributions available – including surveillance aircraft and a mobile air defense radar with operators.
In addition, Denmark will also be able to help make personnel available to NATO’s international staff and headquarters.
