NATO support remains highest in the older age groups and lowest in the younger age groups, although more than half of those under the age of 30 also support membership.
While supporters of the Coalition Party are the most common supporters of applying (86%), membership is also supported by a clear majority of the Center Party, the Greens, the Basic Finns and the Social Democrats. According to political convictions, supporters of the Left Alliance are the only group of respondents who do not support the idea by at least 50%, although the share of supporters (41%) exceeds the share of opponents (28%) also among them. them.
A total of 1,062 people responded to Kantar TNS’s online survey. The margin of error for the results is +/- 3.0 percent.
