New Delhi [India]May 1 (ANI): The newly appointed Foreign Minister, Vinay Mohan Kwatra, said that during his training visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will exchange India’s perspective on the Ukraine issue.
Kwatra spoke of the special briefing, “Premier Modi will exchange India’s perspective on Ukraine during its visits to Germany, France and Denmark.” He also said that the main purpose of Prime Minister Modi’s visit is to strengthen the multidimensional partnership with key European countries.
Referring to India’s position on the Russia-Ukraine crisis, Kwatra said that India had repeatedly clarified its position on the Ukraine issue.
“India has on a number of occasions made its position clear on the Ukraine issue and I will only point out a few key elements. Firstly, we have always argued that hostilities in Ukraine should end and, secondly, the parts of the resolution go through diplomacy and dialogue. and I think these largely capture what we have to say about the Ukraine issue, “he added. Earlier, Kwatra announced that Prime Minister Modi will visit three countries – Germany, Denmark and France – for bilateral and multilateral engagement. On May 2, Prime Minister Modi will travel to Germany where he will address the Indian community in Berlin.
After Germany, he will travel to Denmark on May 3, which will be the Prime Minister’s first visit to the country. Kwatra also announced that on May 4, Prime Minister Modi will attend the second India-Nordic summit with the Prime Ministers of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Sweden and Norway. But before the summit begins, PM Modi will also hold bilateral summits with the leaders of Norway, Iceland, Finland and Sweden.
And finally, Prime Minister Modi will visit France. This visit comes a few days after Macron’s victory in the French presidential election.
Kwatra said that both countries have continuously nurtured and delivered on the ambition with their strategic partnership, especially in the area of โโclean energy and environment, ties between people, digital and manufacturing in advanced sectors. (ANI)
