Copenhagen [Denmark]May 4 (ANI): The situation in Ukraine occurred during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s meeting with her Nordic counterparts and during the India-Nordic Summit.

Foreign Minister Vinay Mohan Kwatra spoke about a special briefing on the Prime Minister’s visit to Denmark, and said that the leaders also discussed the Indo-Pacific region.

“Both in the bilateral dialogue and also at the summit, the leaders exchanged views on issues of regional and global interest which, of course, also included Ukraine. There were also discussions on the Indo-Pacific region,” he said.

Prime Minister Modi and prime ministers from Denmark, Iceland, Finland, Sweden and Norway attended the Indo-Nordic summit at Christiansborg Palace in Copenhagen, Denmark on Wednesday.

The summit was held shortly after Prime Minister Modi held bilateral meetings with the Nordic leaders.

The first India-Nordic summit took place in Stockholm, Sweden in 2018. The Stockholm Summit was the first time India engaged with the Nordic countries as a group on a single platform.

After the Danish part of his visit, the Prime Minister is scheduled to make a short stopover in Paris for a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron. (ANI)
