On the same day that Nooshi Dadgostar is interviewed in Ekot’s Saturday interview, May 13, the government and the representatives of the parliamentary parties have presented it security policy analysis which will form the basis for the decision on whether Sweden will join NATO.
Nooshi Dadgostar thinks that the analysis is too thin and lacks impact assessments of risks for Sweden with a Swedish NATO membership.
“We will risk an escalation in our immediate area and in the Baltic Sea that raises contradictions and conflicts. There are risks of nuclear escalation”
But what alternatives to NATO does Nooshi Dadgostar see? And in what ways is Sweden’s room for maneuver limited if we join the defense alliance?
