About Lykke Li
Lykke Li released his first album in 2008, “Youth Novels”, in collaboration with producer Björn Yttling, and went on a long, successful world tour after that. In addition to her debut, she released three more albums during the 2010s. Now she is up to date with the audiovisual album “EYEYE”. There she has developed her artistic expression together with director Theo Lindqvist, which has resulted in seven short films that are part of the project.
She has also been a songwriter for other artists, been awarded countless Grammys and received a P3 Gold award. Her music has been used in a large number of films and TV series, both in Europe and the United States. In addition, she has appeared as an actress in, among other things, “Song to Song” by Terrence Mallik.
Lykke Li was born in Ystad, but partly grew up in Portugal and later Stockholm. She is the daughter of the photographer and Tant Strul member Kärsti Stiege and the musician Johan “Silversurfaren” Zachrisson.
