This week, P3 Krim is about the hunt for the online pedophile.
The man who is arrested in the apartment we call “Jonathan”. When the police analyzed material on his computer, many children were discovered who had been subjected to some form of abuse. A total of 50 children are victims of crime from all over the world.
The investigation has led to two lawsuits. In one case, the victims are from Sweden and there “Jonatan” has been convicted. In the Court of Appeal, he was sentenced to eight years and six months in prison for, among other things, rape of children, exploitation of children for sexual posing, sexual harassment and child pornography offenses.
The second case, the international part, is ongoing in Malmö District Court. There are all crime victims from other countries. The trial is expected to be completed in June.
In this week’s P3 Krim we tell about the first reports and what led the police to “Jonatan”.
