Although the National Coalition Party failed to make a profit from the previous poll, it increased its leadership at the top of the poll, with Social Democrat support falling 0.8 points (18.7%).
The popularity of basic Finns increased by 1.2 points to 15.4 per cent, which is a sign of a downward trend that began at the end of 2021. Support for the populist right-wing opposition party is currently more than 2.5 points lower than last November.
Support for the center rose 0.3 points to 12.7 per cent, while support for the Left Alliance fell 0.5 points to 7.6 per cent.
All other changes were minor. The Greens rose 0.1 points to 9.1 per cent, the Swedish People’s Party 0.1 points to 4.4 per cent, the Christian Democrats to 3.6 per cent and the Movement Now 0.2 points to 2.4 per cent.
Kantar TNS interviewed 2,420 people between 18 April and 13 May. The margin of error for the survey is +/- 2.1 points.
