About Lena Philipsson
Lena Philipsson grew up in Vetlanda and broke through as a 20-year-old with “Love is eternal” in the Melodifestivalen 1986. Since then she has participated thirteen more times in the competition, released record after record, set up pub shows, played with symphony orchestras and established herself as one of our biggest folk home stars.
In addition to writing her own songs and sewing her own clothes, she has worked with the whole of the shows she set up, taken her own press photos and made music videos. Now she is up to date with the autobiography “In the event of my death” and this summer she is one of the artists participating in the Diggiloo tour.
