Finnish President Sauli Niinistö meets with the Secretary General of NATO Jens Stoltenberg and the Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Støreincluding a two-day discussion session starting Sunday night.
According to the press release, the negotiations will take place in Kultaranta, the President’s summer residence in Southwest Finland.
Topics for discussion at the Kultaranta Talks meeting include the war in Ukraine, the current security situation and Finland’s pending NATO membership.
Niinistö and Stoltenberg will hold a bilateral meeting before a larger meeting and plan to hold a joint press conference.
A discussion on the Nordic model and security is also scheduled for Monday. In total, around 100 participants from various sectors will take part in the discussions, including political leaders, researchers, government representatives, representatives of industry and various organizations, and the media.
The main discussions of the event will be broadcast live on Yle TV1 and streamed on Yle Areena.
