What Malin, Eva and Sara have in common is that they eventually understood their husbands’ position in criminal networks, but only when it was too late. They have experienced various types of violence, have feared for their own and close relatives ‘and friends’ lives and find it difficult to get help from authorities such as the police and social services to find security again.
