Robin is adopted from Sri Lanka. When his adoptive mother dies of cancer, he finds a folder full of pictures, yellowed application forms and worn certificates. Since his mother has passed away and he has no siblings, he decides to talk to his adoptive father.
The problem is that his parents divorced when he was two years old and he grew up without his father. To get answers, he rummages among old contacts, pictures and memories.
