Gold Coast Talks, hosted by the President Sauli Niinistöstarts on Sunday in Naantali, southwestern Finland.
About 100 people from various walks of life have been invited to the annual Kultaranta Talks series, which is held annually at the President’s official summer residence.
The main guests are the Secretary General of NATO Jens Stoltenberg and the Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Størewho took office last fall.

The theme of the ongoing discussions until Monday is "a responsible, strong and stable Nordic country ”. It will bring together policy makers, researchers and representatives of government, industry, NGOs and the media.
A press conference on Sunday afternoon
Niinistö and Stoltenberg will hold a joint press conference on Sunday at 4 p.m.
They will then join the opening discussion from 6:15 pm to 7:30 pm. It focuses on the war in Ukraine, the current security situation and Finland’s application for NATO membership, which has fallen behind due to Turkish demands.
On Monday morning, Støre will discuss Nordic security with the Speaker of Parliament Matti Vanhanen (Cen) and the directors of the Swedish and Finnish Institute of International Affairs.
This will be followed by a security policy discussion in Finnish, in which the Commander of the Defense Forces will appear Timo KivinenMinister of Education Li Andersson (left), Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs Jussi Halla-aho (Finns) and the chairman of the Defense Committee Petteri Orpo (NCP).
