Additional adjustment of Kela’s benefits 3.5% from 1 August 2022

Additional adjustment of Kela’s benefits 3.5% from 1 August 2022

The amount of most Kela benefits will be increased in August because the national pension index was revised due to inflation.

Many benefits offered by Kela are tied to the national pension index. The national pension index is normally revised once a year, at the beginning of January, but now the parliament decided that an additional revision will be made to the index for the period 1 August to 31 December 2022.
