The low pressure system is expected to move west in Norway and Sweden on Tuesday. Koskela stated that the system can bring “quite a lot of rain and thunder” to the region, with a low probability of rain on Tuesday in western Finland.
However, the day is bright and warm in other parts of the country.
The probability of rain and thunder will increase in the western and northeastern parts of the country on Wednesday and Thursday. With the exception of Lapland, the rain is not expected to cool the weather, and temperatures will remain above 25 degrees in many places during the rest of the week as well.
