The election is approaching, it’s only weeks away now. And alongside the government issue and crime, there is also a lot of talk about the economy.
The politicians seem to compete in outbidding each other in proposals to improve the voters’ private finances. And both politicians and experts have highlighted that it will be a “wallet choice” this time.
But is it a strategy that works – filling voters’ wallets?

On Tuesday, Finland decided to radically cut the number of tourist visas granted to Russian citizens – and Estonia has since Wednesday also revoked previously granted tourist visas for Russians. Several of the countries in Russia’s vicinity will push the issue of a total stop for Russian tourist visas to the Schengen area this autumn.
This has raised the question of what responsibility ordinary Russians have for what is happening in Ukraine – if there is such a thing as collective responsibility.
