Versatile new information for climate work in the built environment
The Low Carbon Built Environment program produces information supporting the green transition for a wide range of actors in the real estate and construction industry, including clients, construction and master designers, land use planners and IT developers. Different actors are also needed for climate work related to the built environment.
In the two previous rounds of applications, the Ministry of the Environment has awarded a total of around 2.1 million euros to 29 projects. Ongoing research projects investigate building materials, such as low-carbon concrete and natural materials, develop even more efficient solutions for saving energy, promote the reuse and recycling of building materials, and produce new carbon dioxide emission calculation methods and emission databases. construction products.
